Why have you launched a dedicated community area?

If we have insufficient information about the people we’re supporting (eg if you’re only on our closed Facebook groups) then we cannot count them in our numbers when applying for grants and funding.

In order to apply for all types of funding including The National Lottery, Trusts and Foundations and community fundraising, we need to be able to demonstrate the types and levels of support that patients access. By becoming a member of The Somerville Foundation, you can access a wealth of information and guidance through online support and lifestyle issues, travel and insurance, financial assistance, participate in surveys and so much more in our dedicated website area.

How much does it cost?

It’s completely free to be a ‘Friend’. Donations are always most welcome and although our services are free to access; they are not free to run. Your donations ensure the future of ACHD support for years to come and help us to deliver and expand essential services across the country.

For those keen and able to support our work we have ‘Supporter’ and ‘Patron’ tiers. These will help build an annual income that makes our future more stable and means we can provide more support where needed.

Access to all our support and services. You can upgrade your tier whenever you wish, get in touch with us.

Whether you make a one-off donation or give regularly, thank you very much for your support.  Your money goes straight into the services we provide such as campaigning for better services and support, financial support, mental health and wellbeing counselling and so much more.  Less than the COST of A coffee a week! Choose from monthly payments of £5,   quarterly payment of £15 or annual payment of £60.

Printed copy Heart Month Newsletter

We publish our quarterly newsletter online but during ‘Heart’ month, in February we will send you a specially professionally printed version by post. Packed full of articles and information about CHD, some written by those found the courage to share their stories.
