Tree of Hearts 2022

The popular St Mary le Tower Christmas tree festival will be taking place from 1 – 7 December 2022 at St Mary Le Tower Church and Somerville Heart Foundation are thrilled to be participating in Ipswich’s biggest Christmas tree festival this year!

The Somerville Heart Foundation tree will raise awareness of CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) and the work the charity does throughout the United Kingdom. Somerville Heart Foundation is the only UK-wide charity supporting adults and young people as they transfer to adult services, with all forms of Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD).

The charity’s head office is based in Ipswich and has been in operation since 1993, when it was setup by Professor Jane Somerville who recognised the need for a charity for this new and rapidly growing set of survivors.

The Tree of Hearts displays a variety of handmade items also available in our online shop. We’ve also added photos of some participants in our Scarred FOR Life exhibition from 2015 & 2017 as well as art work from a previous Christmas campaign.

Come and view our tree along with those of other local businesses, charities and groups based in Ipswich at St Mary Le Tower in Ipswich from 1st to 7th December.

Location: St Mary Le Tower, 17 Tower House, Ipswich IP1 3BE.
