Hearts Together Speaker – Dr Louise Coats
Louise will be speaking at our Hearts Together 2023 event in Newcastle.
Dr Louise Coats is an adult congenital cardiologist at the Freeman hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne and a researcher at Newcastle University. She is interested in how we can evolve healthcare services to improve experience and outcomes for patients. She also has research expertise in non-invasive imaging, flow in the heart and the Fontan circulation.
This talk will consider what new treatments are available in adult congenital heart disease and what might be around the next corner. Also we will look at what research matters to patients and clinicians and what we should be prioritising next.
