Wishing our VMG London Marathon runners all the best!

The Virgin Money Giving London Marathon takes place this Sunday 3rd October in London. We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to take part in one of the world’s most coveted races, raising awareness for young people and adults born with heart conditions.

Neil Hunting will be participating in the physical event with the view to raise £2500 for The Somerville Foundation. The 26.2-mile trek around London is no walk in the park (pardon the pun), but when you have 20 years of running experience behind you, everything is in your favour! Although Neil himself does not have a heart condition he is fully committed to fundraising for The Somerville Foundation and making a difference. Running is his passion and we are really thrilled to have him on board championing for us! You can still donate to Neil’s fundraiser here.

We are also excited to have David Watters running the virtual event on the day for his mum! It is David’s first event, and it

also happens to be his birthday weekend (the big 40). Support David’s fundraiser here.
