Take part in the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon and Support The Somerville Foundation!

The world-famous 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon is taking place on Sunday 3 October, with a record 50,000 participants running on the streets of the capital. The 26.2-mile route starts at Blackheath in Greenwich and encompasses many of London’s most iconic landmarks such as The Shard, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace, with the Finish Line at The Mall.

Need a place?

The competition for an entry into the London Marathon is incredibly fierce. But we’ve got you covered! We have been fortunate enough to receive an entry for the 2021 race! This is your opportunity to take part in one of the greatest and most coveted races of all time with a charity place! By running for us, you will help us raise much-needed funds for The Somerville Foundation, a national UK charity who support young people and adults born with a heart condition.

We’ll ask you to pay a registration fee of £120 and fundraise a minimum of £2500.

What’s included for the live event?

We’ll provide you with as much support as we can leading up to the big day with fundraising tips, online marketing & social media posts and training resources.

In order to collect your VMG pack, you will need to attend the Virgin Money London Marathon Running Show – which runs from Wednesday 29 September to Saturday 2 October 2021. The pack will need to be collected before 17:00 on Saturday 2 October in order to take part in the event. The organisers will not issue a Race Pack after this deadline.

THE 2021 VIRGIN LONDON MARATHON POINTS TO NOTE

  • Entrants must be 18 or over on Sunday 3 October 2021
  • All 26.2 miles must be completed on Sunday 3 October 2021
  • Participants need to observe current government guidance on social distancing while training and during the event
  • The 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon App, powered by TCS, will require the participant to enable GPS to track their 26.2 miles
  • Tracking information will be used to produce the individual certificate unique to the participant
