Funding Announcement

Announcement Date: 29 October 2020

We were absolutely thrilled to hear that we have been awarded over £43,000 of Government funding from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) as part of the Coronavirus Community Support Fund distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.

This award represents six months of core funding support for The Somerville Foundation, covering services and operations from our Mental Health and Wellbeing Counselling and subsidising CoaguChek INR test machines to printing information leaflets and producing GUCH News.

We are delighted that the challenges presented by the global pandemic to those with congenital heart disease in the UK have been recognised and that our work to support all young people and adults born with a heart condition is secure for the next six months. Thanks to the Government and to The National Lottery Community Fund for making this possible.
