Join the focus group!

More and more Fontan patients are now reaching adulthood, which is an amazing medical feat. Despite the advances in medicine, patients are still facing more struggles in everyday life compared to their healthy peers, and not much is known about their quality of life.

With this study, Master research student Jara Weinkauf who is also a Fontan patient herself, aims is to find out more about the quality of life in regards to everyday life and how this might be improved by providing better psychosocial support.

Fontans between the age of 20 – 39 are invited to take part in an one to one interview to discuss this field in more detail.
