Emma Weingart
I qualified as a nurse from Middlesex University and have worked within cardiology throughout my career, in CCU, cardiothoracic critical care, and now as an advanced nurse practitioner for adult congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.
I set up the Oxford ACHD nursing service in 2014, and have seen the service grow. My clinical interests are pulmonary hypertension, maternal cardiology and heart failure in ACHD.
I was seconded as the ACHD Network Lead Nurse for the Thames Valley and Wessex Congenital cardiac operational network in 2021. Since joining I have gained insight into how services are developed within NHSE and have helped developed resources for our patients.
