Are our emails going to spam?

Think we have been quiet?

Our emails could be going to spam. Due to a number of changes with many email service providers, spam filter settings have been amended to curb the amount of spam emails you receive. You may have received emails from us before and now suddenly you don’t.

Here’s what you can do:

Open your email box and go to your spam folder. For most mailboxes you will have a menu at the top right or left of your mailbox, scroll down the list until you see a folder marked spam.

Take a look at the emails and check if there are any emails from us (Somerville Heart Foundation), or info@sfhearts.org.uk or anyone from our office, our emails will look like this: firstname.surname@sfhearts.org.uk.

Open the email, go to the 3 dots or lines at the top of the email and select  not spam. There should also be a banner displayed at the top of the email that says not spam that you can tap or click on. This should send the email back into your Inbox.

If you have any issues, get in touch with us via email on info@sfhearts.org.uk.

CAUTION: Be sure to not open any emails that you don’t know who / where they are from and especially don’t open any attachments or click any links in those as this is how viruses are activated!

Have you sent us an email and not had a response?

We do check out spam regularly but if we have not responded to your email and it’s been a while, then please get in touch with the office on 01473 252007 as this is happening to us too!

Thanks very much for your help with this.
