Trustees Announcement – The passing of Michael Cumper

Dear ACHD Community,

It is with great sadness that the Board of Trustees announce that our President Michael Cumper who served the charity for many years passed away earlier this week. 

Michael was dedicated to the cause of Somerville Heart Foundation, working on numerous committees ensuring the NHS continued to improve the services provided to the ACHD / GUCH community. Much of what we enjoy now is due to his endeavours and others who he inspired. Michael was a great campaigner for everyone born with a congenital heart defect.

We would like to send our deepest condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time and will make a further announcement regarding changes to the Board of Trustees in due course.
